2018 March of the Living

Erika travel blog
After the huge disappointment last year, I'm finally embarking on my first March of the Living. "First" is an important word because I hope to do this every year for many years to come.

From the MOTL.ORG website (you should check it out if you want to really understand what this is):

"The International March of the Living is an annual educational program, bringing individuals from around the world to Poland and Israel to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hatred.

Taking place annually on Yom Hashoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day - The March of the Living itself is a 3-kilometer walk from Auschwitz to Birkenau as a tribute to all victims of the Holocaust."

So, let's get started . . . take this incredible journey with me. My first entry is simply the blessing I wrote for the 214 teens who will be on this journey with me and with four other Holocaust Survivors. That's a great way to start.
