As some of you may be aware, our vacations are quite simple. No fancy resorts or cruise ships for us! We like well groomed biking trails and country roads that meander through villages and hamlets where we can stop to have a picnic or a coffee. We don't cover a lot of territory but we certainly enjoy the sites, sounds, smells and tastes of the area we do visit. We like to see nature at its finest and learn a little about the local history and culture.
For this vacation, we are headed to NY State. We plan to bike the 350 mile Erie Canal trail and then camp in the Adirondacks. Follow along. It should be a blast!
