Welcome to our Australian & New Zealand "Down Under" Adventure.
We are excited because trip time is here. Gosh, we have talked about taking this trip for a long time. Anyway, I think it could have been since I first read The Thorn Birds-anyone remember that book and mini-series? Well, we now have the time to go for a number of weeks and sky miles accumulated so planned to go in February since it is their summer season. The flight from LA to Sydney is 15 hours plus we lose a day because you cross the Int'l Date Line. We will then hop a flight to Melbourne since we will be joining the tour there on February 4th. We're glad to have a couple of days in Melbourne to explore and regroup before we join the other travelers.
We'll be thinking of all of you as we write our travel updates - thanks for letting us share.
