It would be safe to say that we managed to do about a weeks worth of sight seeing in the 4 days that we spent in Bangkok - a chaotic, bizarre yet wonderful city. Thanks to a Thai student called Tom (who talked more than Lou does - which as you all now is quite an acheivement) we were in Buddhist terms very 'Lucky' spending a full day of siting, standing, laying and talking Buddhas, reaching our more spiritual sides for 20 baht (15p). From riding and Squeezer kissing elephants, floating markets, long-boat rides, thai boxing, thai dancing, touring The Grand Palace and sampling 5 star Thai food for the cost of a KFC(it was the most culture T-bag had ever been subjected to in such a short space of time) its safe to say we were fully fulfilled throughout our stay. Our personal now preferred means of transport -Tuk-Tuk's lead to many a sureal experience. We unluckily were forced to avoid the 'cheap cheap shop shop' due to our ridiculously full back packs (we will be forced to dump stuff at some point i'm sure).

We left feeling exhausted and in need of a beach and some sun as the smog and backpackers lane 'Khao San Road' (bar the house sized screen for football games) are by far the worst things about this truely manic city.
