Manitoba Museum

Replica of the Nonsuch

Hudson Bay Co. crest

Yesterday we visited a planetarium where we had a private viewing of a Northern Lights presentation and an explanation of how the aurora is formed. Then we went to the Manitoba museum for a guided tour and learned about the history of Canada and the Inuit people. There wan an interesting presentation on the Inuit culture and a description of how they lived and survived in such a harsh environment. Today we head to the nearby Canadian Railway train station for our 44 hour trip to Churchill.
