We were welcomed to Europe with a glorious sunrise over France. We saw a lovely sunset over the U.S. East coast & sunrise over Europe, all from the same seats. We didn't think about that when we picked our seats.
Well, it seems we made it onto Rome time already. We shared a small, fair pizza for lunch, had our first gelatos, vanilla & pistachio around 5 then had a fabulous dinner about 9. Jim had penne w/vodka sauce & I had lemon cream fettuccini. It was fabulous. We wandered our area & climbed the Spanish Steps (all 138 of them) to a glorious view of Rome. It is now 12:40 & we are heading to bed!
