Our VIP Soft Sleeper Cabin on train

Views across the hillsides

Isn't she just gorgeous

Just looks like little steps up the hillside.

Are we there yet?

The local school

Anyone for a smoke. One of the things sold at market

This little piggy didn't last the market...

Don't try this at home kids

Every trek is worth it in the end.

The people in Sapa are the nicest you could hope to come across, we trekked through the villages and stayed overnight in someone's house, very cozy.

The children are just adoreable, take a look at a small sample of piccies. The scenery is just stunning and trekking fairly easy for a change.

We had a great group of people on the tour, which we think made the 12 hour overnight train trip in both directions and 2 nights in Sapa so worthwhile and memorable. Just such a relaxing place to be and meet people.

It will be remembered by us as the town in the clouds, at around 4pm you just couldn't see across the road, very eery and spooky.
