We went for another incredible drive today. We drove back to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park. It is a seventeen mile drive up to the visitors center at the top. We visited the park before when we first arrived in Washington. This time it was covered with snow and absolutely incredible!
We saw a lot of waterfalls on the way up. The roads became quite icy at the top, but were nice on the way up. We made another quickie snowman. This one was easy, we could reach the snow right from the visitors center patio. :-) We went inside the nice gift shop and warmed up with coffee before the drive back down. The drive down was more of a ride down. You don't even have to use the gas.
We saw a deer on the side of the road. We stopped to take pictures and he walked right up to the car. They are very tame here. On the way back to Sequim we saw 15 swans in the field. They were quite far off, I got the best zoom of them I could. We hope you enjoy the photos.
