Sue, Ralph and their family lived in the valleys east of Palmerston North their land was vast. At their house they weren’t connected to the mains so produced their own power with solar panels & windmills which they all connected themselves!! A very creative family, that even built their own house (and the bridge to get to it from over the river!). We learnt a lot here about gardening, renewable energy and Leigh (their daughter) taught Tara a lot about Natural Horsemanship. The experience was one of a kind and we certainly enjoyed our week there.
