Roadside Pull-out, Liard Hot Springs Provincial Park Area, British Columbia, Canada Muncho Lake

Today we did a lot of driving but saw some of the most beautiful scenery we've come across thus far. Mountains, lakes, snow, rock, you name it! We saw caribou, deer and bears. The highlight of the day was Muncho Lake though. There were mountains all around it and the color of the lake was an aqua or turquoise green. There was still ice on the lake so it sparkled in the sun. It was just beautiful. We parked the rig up on the side of the main road and walked down to the lake. The pictures really tell the story.

Once we headed out from Muncho Lake, we drove up the road to a pull-out just south a few miles of Liard Hot Springs. We'll sleep here tonight then get up tomorrow morning and drive to the hot springs. Once we've enjoyed some time there, we'll hit the road again and drive on up to Watson Lake if time allows. Jonathan's been riding up front with us the last day or two. When he got back in the RV today after seeing Muncho Lake he said, “Who needs video games when you can see all this cool stuff?” Be still my heart.
