Thursday, May 28, 2009. Hi Country RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada Pull-Out to Whitehorse We had a nice breakfast together this morning knowing that when Tom got done with work we would only have an hour to drive to get to our destination tonight. We knew we were headed to a campground too so I for one was looking forward to that. There were a number of other rigs that stopped so people could walk their dogs or stretch their legs. We watched thinking they would probably be pulling off the road about the time we got started. One RV that stopped is in our campground. When they stopped at the pull-out earlier today, I thought I saw a boy around Jonathan's age. One of the first things we did was take the Yukon over to the wash rack here at the campground. We thought about washing the RV too but in the next week, we'll be taking up over the Top of the World Highway and it will be dirtier than it is now so we decided to wait. At least the truck is a little cleaner though. You'll get to see the before and after photos in our pictures. Tomorrow, I plan to make a Walmart run to pick up a few items. There are several things in town to see so we'll probably check those out as soon as Tom gets done with work. We haven't decided whether to drive on Saturday or stay here another day. We'll see how much we get to see tomorrow.
