St. Micheals Mount in the backgound

Marazion, Cornwall

St. Michaels Mount is accessible by foot when the tide is out. When King Henry V declared war on France in the early 15th century, he seized it from France for the crown of England. It is a National Trust property.

It was blustery and the surf sailors were out.

Falmouth, Cornwall

Pendennis Castle a English Heritage property

Built by Henrey VIII in 1540-45 as an artillery fort to protect England from Catholic invasions by France and Spain.

Again, we would have loved to see this castle but it was up one of those hills that required your to reverse your brains out, so we decided that our lives were not worth the photo.

St. Austell, Cornwall Known as capital of the Cornish Alps Home of the Eden Project

We spent our third night at Truro again as we had such a great sleep the night before and the options I had chosen in St. Austell were not available.
