It was motorcycle heaven in Reno today..:-)

Don't miss the prime rib and lobster here...

Blocks of shopping for the rally...

Roads were closed all over town just for the bikers...

Last one!

We drove over to Reno today, about fifteen miles from our campground. We wanted to try the prime rib and lobster tail special at the California/Nevada Casino Hotel. It was wonderful and the price of $11.99 was wonderful too. :-) The steak and lobster tail was only $9.99. Wowser deals and great food.

Everywhere we went today we saw motorcycles. We found out the Street Vibrations Fall Rally was going on in town. They had roads closed off with tons of booths selling everything you could want for motorcycles. Everyone knows that the “Biggest Little City in the World” offers unparalleled entertainment, but this event takes it to a new level. There's live entertainment on six outdoor stages, an unbelievable array of vendor booths, poker runs, scavenger hunts, major concerts, and a fireworks display in downtown Reno. It was exciting to see all the action but it sure was noisy and busy. We enjoyed our lobster and headed back to the quiet and pleasant campground. Next time I will check out the event calendar before heading into town. :-) Check back later for more from Nevada.
