Dave and Jeanne's Motorcycle trip to the four corners of USA with side trip to Cabot Trail Nova Scotia CA travel blog

Woke up to a rainy morning and after looking at the atlas realized that we were 8 miles from I-75. Ran some numbers and the mileage to Spearfish SD from our currant location and from Louisville were within 10 miles. The mileage to Louisville KY was 308. Got a break in the rain, loaded the bike and on the road again to Louisville KY. Decided to split the day up a bit as we have been running the interstate for a couple days, jumped on some back roads and enjoyed the farm land with the old barns. Skirted the rain most of the trip with occasional sprinkles. Approaching Louisville looked really nasty to the north and on some stretches looked like we were headed right into it and then we would turn south and skies were lighter with no rain. Thank goodness there were not any speed traps as I had poured the coal to it, hoping to beat the rain. Let me back up a bit for the reason to head to Louisville KY. There is a charity run here called the Sam Swope Charity Run, this year is the 13th annual, and some of the Bahia Shrine Center Motorcycle and Iron Horse units attend. Sam Swope is also a member of Bahia. Not staying for the run which is Sunday, but had a good time visiting everyone. Breakfast and short visit in the morning and will be head northwest.
