Henry Horton State Park, Chapel Hill, TN

Happy Birthday Tom!

Tom and I got up in Advance, North Carolina this morning around 6:30. Jonathan had asked to sleep in the back last night because there was a street light shining into the front of the RV and he said he couldn't fall asleep. I sleep pretty good on the front couch so we did that. Tom had to drive all day today too and he doesn't sleep well on the front couch so that's how we worked that out.

Tom and I started getting us and things regarding the RV ready. We waited until the last minute to wake Jonathan up. Once he was awake, he got ready then we hit the road at 7:45. We did breakfast, granola bars and grapes, on the road for whoever wanted it. I had made sandwiches last night so we could keep driving without making a lunch stop if we wanted to so that's what we did.

We basically drove all day. We made a fuel stop after getting off I-40 as we were headed to Chapel Hill. It was only about 20 more minutes after that. I had been sleeping for a little while before the fuel stop so I went back up to the front seat at that point.

Once we got into the campground, we unhooked by the main office. Jonathan and I took the Yukon around the campground to scope out a sight while Tom took the RV over to the dump station. The only hook up we have this week are power so we wanted to make sure the grey and black tanks were empty.

We took the RV to the site and then started setting up. I called Michelle to let them know we had made it. They will be coming soon so we can visit.
