We enjoyed visiting the town of Custer today. The town has a lot of colorful buffalo, I took pictures of several of them, some with Jerry. ;-)
We had lunch at the Baker’s Café, it was delicious. I had the buffalo taco salad and Jerry had a jalapeno burger. His burger was huge, he had a hard time eating all of it.
Custer, South Dakota, is the gateway to the roaming wildlife of Custer State Park and just minutes from Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and all the adventures and activities of the Black Hills.
This cool town offers travelers unique lodging, dining and shopping opportunities, flanked by the majestic peaks and towering pines of the Black Hills National Forest.
We had a great time walking down the street and checking out the shops. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. It was another great day in South Dakota, check back later for more.
