Lavenham Church

Guildhall of Corpus Christi

Kersey Church

It was a lovely day but cold so we decided to take a drive and explore a number of the small villages of Suffolk. Our first stop was Lavenham once a centre of the region’s wool trade and has an ensemble of perfectly preserved half-timbered houses. It was a lovely village to walk around but it was so cold.

From Lavenham we then drove through the pastoral rolling countryside of Suffolk to find the small village of Kersey, another old wool town with timbered building and a church standing high above the village
