Camping in Yellowstone

Yellowstone Lake looked more like the ocean

Today was another day spent driving but with such a beautiful country, that's okay. We checked out The Crazy Horse statue before leaving South Dakota. We all agreed we will not likely see it completed in our lifetime.

We drove through Bighorn National Forest on our way to Yellowstone. The tall mountains with bare rock walls were amazing. There was snow in the higher elevation.

We drove through rolling hills of EVERY color. America the beautiful has SO much LAND. Songs come to mind like "I Can See For Miles and Miles."

We stopped to stretch in Cody, Montana but we did not pay to go in the Buffalo Bill Museum because of the time factor.

Entering Yellowstone National Park was 50 years of dreaming come true. As we traveled, David made the statement that we keep seeing amazing scenery and then we drive up on something more amazing! "America the Beautiful!"
