Nestor Falls, about halfway down Lake of the Woods

This is what I found when I went for a little walk...

Now I'm glad there aren't many trees in the campground

The international border goes up the middle of Rainy River so that's...

It was a nice sunny day when I left Kenora & I’d planned to stop somewhere near the southern part of Lake of the Woods but as I got further south the weather deteriorated in a hurry so I kept going to Fort Frances which was where I planned to stop tomorrow night.

By the time I got here it was pouring with rain & blowing a gale. The only campground in town is a municipal park & it’s quite exposed but I wasn’t going any further today.

The weather cleared a bit this afternoon & I went for a short walk but now it’s getting rough again. I’ve set up my satellite dish & so far it’s staying put in the wind but I think I’ll pack it up before I go to bed in case it blows away in the middle of the night.
