| We have spent 12 wondeful days with our friends Jett and Deb in Blanco State Park, Blanco, TX. It rained a few days, reached 80 degrees another, and was very sunny most of the time. We just hung out in the park, took walks into the small town of Blanco, talked, laughed,played games and created meals together. What a blast. We also watched spring begin to emerge. We ate great food at the Red Bud Cafe and the most bland Mexican food one can imagine at an unnamed cafe. With all the rain, the Blanco River was flowing mightily. Last year it was totally dry. It was a great break to stay in one place for this long and have time with old friends. Tomorrow our wheels will be turning again. |
