|This morning a bloke told me they had more than 100mm of rain over the weekend at Sudbury & the KOA Park here in Parry Sound is also waterlogged. We had some rain in Providence Bay but nothing like what they got in this area.
Check-out time in most of these parks is 11:00am & since I didn’t have very far to go I stayed & watched the Wimbledon tennis which starts at 7:30 here, a much more civilized time than at home.
Most of the trip was on freeway so there wasn’t much to see. I stopped & did some shopping but will wait & have a look around Parry Sound tomorrow when I’m booked on a boat cruise around Georgian Bay & the 30,000 Islands area.
Something’s happened to my 12 volt power system (which has gone away) so I called Paul who thinks he knows what the problem is & it’s not at all serious. Everything works when I’m plugged into 110 power & the engine still goes, so it’s only things like the water pump when I’m on the road. It looks like any problem would be covered by my extended warranty so I’m now waiting for a mobile RV repairer to call me back.
More seriously, I can’t get a satellite signal so I’m missing out on the tennis for the next 2 days. Not a big deal but it’s aggravating. There are just too many trees around. I’ve got plenty of stuff recorded though & good Wi-Fi connection so I’m not hurting.
