South America Plus travel blog

Each time we come into these small villages or even the larger towns/cities I marvel at the very narrow, cobblestone streets and how the people just keep on dealing with them cars, buses, llamas, the whole scene crowding together yet still 'functioning' in it's own peculiar way. In the countryside small kids (5-10 yrs old?!) caring for the sheep herds w/ kites of plastic bags, the red mud adobe houses/tile roofs, women in their bright native dress, their multicolored bundle on their backs, wide skirts, dk wrinkled skin, wide brim hats, walking along a deserted road seemingly out in nowhere!
