We drove early onto Moteuka and the Abel Tasman National Park. We arranged our water taxi tickets from Marahau over to the gorgeous Torrent bay. The 20 mins journey stops briefly at the apple rock and drops you off in the sea!!! Funny they forget to tell you that when you pay for it:) We then started the scenic 5 hour walk back along the coastline, as it was low tide we waded across the muddy ocean floor to Anchorage bay complete with fab sea caves and a mad couple. The walk was luckily easy compared to some we've done and we made good time, managing to stop at all the lookouts and deserted beaches along the way. We arrived back to our van in time for sunset and drove onto Takaha, camping at Hughes lookout - a fab spot overlooking the whole park.
