Arrived in Yuba City
27 July - I finally made it. I got the call that my glasses were ready for pickup from the Travis BX about 12:30 and was on my way shortly after that. I stopped at Walmart in Woodland for a short rest (read: nap) and then continued on my Mary-way (as in on my way to see my Mary). It is a very warm evening here. There's only a 15 amp hookup in the garage so I can't run the aircon. Tomorrow I will invest in another fan, providing I survive the night.

Today's Milestones: Drove a trip record of 75 miles in one day.

28 July - Mary was up bright and early to go enjoy the day with her friends at a kite festival in Berzerkly. They didn't have room in the car for me so I got to stay in god-forsaken Yuba City. It's 5pm and it just hit a hundred in the RV. At least the fans help a little by blowing the hot air around. No more summers in California for me unless I'm on the coast or somewhere I can plug in the stinkin' air-conditioning. This is crazy hot. What little brain I have left is frying as we speak.

29 July - Besides going for a jog this morning and gettin' the laundry done, I spent the day hangin' out with my kid and just being lazy. Another sizzler of a day. I bet it won't be like this tomorrow on the coast.
