Plenty of water at the Marina

Lots of trash washed up at the Day Use area

We got back to the park and got to park in our site in Buck Ridge Campground. This area was not open when we first got here. They close it in the winter.

Ron came down and stayed a couple of weekends with us. We had some nice times. Paula and family had reservations for Memorial Day Weekend. They were just a couple of sites away. We had a very nice visit.

June was a fairly quiet month. Due to all the rain south and west of us, the lake was quite high for most of the summer. The swimming beaches were only open about 10 days while we were here. Due to the high water and the high temperatures, attendance was not what it usually is.

In July, Paula & I traveled to Flint, MI, for my niece Holly's baby shower. We had a nice time and got to spend some quality time together.

Well, it's almost time to leave Truman and head to our next adventure. We are going to miss all of our new friends. But, we have promised that we will come back next year and spend the whole summer. We look forward to it.

We head back to Hermann. Come on along.......
