Duane & Jo's U.S. and Canada Tour: 2008 travel blog

A pleasant drive to Binghamton, NY.

The scenery was again very colorful.

On the way we drove through Duanesburg.

Some trees are two-tone this time of year.

It was a beautiful campground.

We had an easy drive to Binghamton from Bennington. The road was good and dry most of the way, the scenery beautiful. Chenango Valley State Park is a large, pretty, well maintained and relatively empty state park. We had rain most of the time and the park was pretty soggy. It is 12 miles from Binghamton where we washed clothes and did grocery shopping. Next we head for Letchworth State Park and Rochester where we will get together with Duane's brother, and other family members.
