On Sunday, we drove from College Park, MD to Intercourse, PA … the local information says “there was no hesitancy on the part of the United States Post Office Department to accept the name ‘Intercourse’ since it meant a commercial or trading site”. On Monday, we took a scenic drive through the Amish farm country and made a stop at Lititz, a quaint little town. Then, we went for a really nice run on a rails-to-trails conversion, the Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail. We finished off the day with dinner (and an awesome chocolate dessert) at the Iron Hill Brewery … part of a very cool mixed-use development right across from Franklin & Marshall College.
