Monday, June 14 - Arrived in Marina di Massa via the Pisa Airport where we met the rest of the arriving party. They picked up their vehicles and we caravanned to Marina di Massa. The jet lagged party rested while we found a wonderful pannini shop at Piazza Betti.

Tuesday, June 15 - Kerman and I drove Niles to Pisa to the US Army base there. We got him to the clinic where the doc there gave him some medications and a letter for us to give to airlines to get back sooner than anticipated. We will get him checked out when we return. The rest of the crowd went to visit Portovenere while Niles and I napped in the afternoon. That evening we had a wonderful dinner on the terrace of Amy's mother-in-law. Awesome food!

Wednesday, June 16 - Some of the crowd visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa while those of us who had been there before had dinner downtown.

Thursday, June 17 - Wedding Day!

Friday, June 18 - Most of the crowd was recuperating from the previous evening's food and drink. Mostly recuperating from drink and too much of it. Great reception on the beach at a fantastic restaurant.

Saturday, June 19 - Cinque Terre. Unfortunately, Harrison, Drew and Jeanne's son was ill for the wedding evening so Drew missed the wedding. They left for Rome so they can try to return to the US earlier than anticipated.

Sunday, June 20 - Those who hadn't been to Florence went with Kerman while Niles, Betty and Sheila stayed around Marina di Massa. It was raining so hard and storming while we were eating breakfast that we decided that a quiet day was in order. We have been impressed with the amount of rain we've been receiving.
