Sana Cruz Warf Sea Lion

"Ready for my close up!"

On Monday we left to go down to Santa Cruz. The weather couldn't have been nicer: warm and sunny. Getting out of the city also couldn't have been easier. We are again traveling along Hwy 1. Our first stop was an old lighthouse that still works, sorry no pictures of it, but is in need of repair. From the walkway, we saw sea lions sunning themselves. Later at the beach we watched surf boarders, hang gliders and people enjoying the beach. We ate lunch and relaxed in the sun. We made it to Santa Cruz and visited the wharf. It hasn't changed in twenty years: same restaurants, gift shops, etc. Even the sea lions are still there making as much noise as ever.
