|Started the day at Dobbies Gardening World..........not just your averge garden centre, this centre had the lot, it even had a gourmet deli/wine section.
Here we had coffee with John (Grandad's brother/John's Fitz's dad), Pat (Grandad's sister) and Anne (John's daughter). After morning tea Dan wandered through the landscape supplies checking out the slate and pebbles.
Back home for lunch, a bit of Wimbledon watching then it was into Southport for a walk along the pier, a pier with no water underneath! Although it must have once as 'red swim between the flags' stand tall at the end of the beach......200metres from water! It was then some fun in the old sytle amusement park trying to win chupa chups and nail polish with penny's. It's amazing what you can win when you give the machines a shake. Nana the cheating thief!
Had a lovely dinner at home of salmon and salad with a bottle of Wolf Blass Cab Sav. After dinner we watched the Wimbledon semi-final between Nadal and Murray.
It was then off to the Richmond Pub to catch up with cousins Becky and Kat, at midnight we wished Becky happy 24th birthday. After being kicked out the pub as it was closing, and being the only one's left we ran home as it was cold!
