We drive onto the ferry.

We depart the dock.

This is us, all 62 feet of us.

Bye, bye, Vermont.

Hope the ferry doesn't sonk.

Captains Quarters. Hope he is awake?

We barely fit? Not really, there was plenty of room.

This is not our ferry, ha.

A calm Lake Champlain this morning.

A sailboat with not much wind.

Welcome to Plattsburg, NY only 60 miles to Montreal from here.

We arrive at our new home: Twin Ells Campground, near Plattsburgh, NY.

We departed FMCA Rally Headquarters as scheduled around 9:00 AM. We headed north toward the Lake Champlain Ferry about 15 miles away.

We stopped for "bargain basement" diesel while still in Vermont and topped off our fuel tank. We "only" paid $4.079 in Vermont, in New York we will have to pay around $4.299, so we will avoid purchasing fuel in New York. Next fuel stop will be in Winchester, VA where diesel is still at $3.789.

During the ferry ride from Vermont to New York we took a few photos and will post them later today. We arrived in Plattsburg, NY and since it was only 10:00 AM we stopped for a T.J. Maxx fix and also picked up a few things at Walmarts while in the neighborhood.

After shopping we headed north for the 9 mile ride to Twin Ells Campground arriving around lunch time. We plan to kick back and relax this afternoon and will break out the George Foreman Grill for an evening cookout.

it will be an early to bed night so that we can drive into Montreal, Canada in the car.
