Back in June, Dot and I found this preserve (thanks to letterboxing) and hiked one of the trails. It was a good hike and I found the series of 3 boxes. Later, I found out there were other boxes on the other trails, and today was the day I got back there to find them. This time I had my camera and there were picturesque spots.
On the "white" trail, parts were mucky bacause of all the rain we had. A few trees were down and over the trail, making hikers walk around or climb over them. But the waterfall I was looking for was worth the obstacle course because it flowed like it does in Spring. I also had to cross paths with a big snapping turtle that didn't move but watched everyone walking by it. This walk was very good exercise for me.
