Thomas Edwards Estate Cave for wine tasting

grounds of Thomas Edwards Estate Winery

Ukiah is beautiful. We drove up to Humboldt Redwood Forest, largest grove of trees 350 feet tall. The park is not crowded, very peaceful and serene. Driving to Russian River area today.

Russian River vineyards were beautiful, stretching over rolling hills for miles. We enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch at Cork's, a restaurant at the Russian River Winery, then just drove along, viewing all the vineyards on both sides of the rode. We stopped and did another wine tasting at Thomas Edwards Estate. Their tasting room was in a man-made cave in the side of the hill there. The grounds were lovely. We will leave for South Lake Tahoe, CA in the morning.
