We went to Wagner's, a local restaurant known for its Beef on Weck - This is a sandwich made from very thin Beef with horseradish on a bun topped with salt and caraway seeds and is served with au ju. This sandwich was originated here in Western New York and it has it's roots in the German immigrants and is second only to "Chicken Wings". Weck is short for Kimmerweck which means "bun". It really is a wonderful sandwich. It is similar to a French Dip but so much better.
