Mt. McKinley

Princess McKinley Lodge

Anchorage Pier

Anchorage City Park

Well, we said goodbye to the Kenai Peninsula and headed off for McKinley.

We stopped along the way in Anchorage for lunch. Alaska has about 3/4 million residents and about 1/2 of them live in Anchorage. It looks pretty much like any other comparable sized city in the lower 48.

Upon our arrival at the lodge, we no sooner got into our room and sat down when the building began to shake. We looked at each other and said "What the hell was that?" "THAT" was our first earthquake. How cool is "THAT"???
