Last one!

After our drive to Mount Walker, we noticed the Quilcene Fish Hatchery sign on the drive back from the mountain. We decided to stop and check it out. We ended up taking a complete tour of the facility.

We met with Mr. Wong, he was an awesome tour guide. He explained in detail the history of the hatchery and showed us all the steps from eggs to fish. He even showed us where the huge fish return to spawn.

Sammy got to feed the tiny fish in the fishpond. It was very educational for all of us. Mr. Wong is even going to send special posters and literature to Vickie in Kentucky for her school project. We were all very happy we decided to make the stop. We got a lot more than we expected and enjoyed it much.

I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
