Ko Samui Thailand is a beautiful island off the coast of Thailand. The world is slowly catching up with this sleepy little island. The residents include about 50,000 people, monkeys, elephants and even a few Tigers! The beaches are beautiful and uncroweded, the food spicy and beer very cold making this my favorite fun spot so far. We rode elephants, watched monkey shows and feasted on Thai delights. Reluctantly we left to return to visit Bangkok. Bangkok is a massive city with old world charm coupled with big city issues like traffic, noise and air that was diffucult to breath for long periods! The people are extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a great time visiting the combination of old and new and yes, we did have some great food and cold beverages to finish out a wonderful visit. Off to Vietnam for 5 days. Be Well. Michael and Cheryl
