The flight back to Lima was disaster-free.
We arrived back at the same hotel we had stayed in the week before and retired early again.
The next day, L, Andrew and I went to the post office to ship things back home, wandered around the Inca Markets, full of wonderful useless and colorful clothes, nick nacks, etc.
Then we walked to the seafront again to find a restaurant someone had recommended to us. We walked forever and finally found the place that was meant to have the best cebiche in Peru. We didn't have much to compare it to but it was delicious!
Had a nice, long leisurely lunch then had time to kill before L and I had to fly to Argentina. So we went to the cinema and watched Love at Last in English. Almost forgot what a movie screen looked like! It was a great way to end a true adventure.
Back to the hotel, packed up and said goodbye to our newest friend. Always the optimist, he said, "It's not goodbye. Ít's til next time." Words to live by... He was moving on to explore Costa Rica
