|We hit the road earlier than necessary this morning since I hadn't changed my watch back to PDT when we entered Nevada. The time change played games with my mind the whole day just as the long daylight hours of the approaching solstice did all during the trip. Aside from road resurfacing going on all across Nevada and the deplorable condition of CA highways (Eisenhower would be ashamed of his eponymous freeway today), the last day of travel was an easy one. An audio book and light traffic helped the miles fly by. Ursa and I looked forward to getting our land legs back after 2,334 miles of driving. Once home, Ursa just wanted to hang out on the porch but I had nine days and four states worth of cleaning up to do in Quo Vadis, plants to water, laundry to schlepp, mail to open...you get the picture. Home, sweet home. Thanks for joining Ursa and me on our journey. See you next trip!
