We all did a quickie drive through town before having prime rib...

The town reminds us of Cripple Creek, Colorado..

Last one, we had awesome prime rib at the Century...

We left Grand Lake this morning and drove about 120 miles to Central City, Colorado. We wanted to be closer to Denver to take Vickie and Sam to the airport in the morning. The drive took us over Loveland Pass and through the long tunnel. Sam enjoyed driving through the tunnel and getting grandpa to blow the horn.

The drive was a pretty easy one, we arrived in Central City in the early afternoon. We are all set up for the next week at a nice campground with great Wi-Fi...YIPPEE! Now I can start the catch up and finish all the journals from Rocky Mountain National Park I could not do there.

We all went out for delicious prime rib at one of the casinos in town. We don’t do a lot of gambling but we sure do love the food at such ridiculous prices. We all had prime rib and paid only $5.99 each. It came with choice of potato and a vegetable and rolls. What a deal! We have a lot of exploring to do around town, check back later for more from Central City, Colorado.
