Yes we were really there

One last look at the Acropolis

I've run out of descriptive words for the Acrpolis!

A final group photo before the first group leaves for the airport

Our driver an Maria Christina from Fantasy

After many adventures, numerous Kms, mucho wine, way too much food and lots of laughs the Mamma Mia tour is finished. Six of the group were picked up this morning by the Fantasy Travel bus and representative at 10 am for the long trip back. Clara and I had a couple more hours to enjoy a Starbucks coffee, discover the flea market (you didn't miss anything) and complete the LAST shopping. Of course we did have to have one final Acropolis view and photo before we were picked up by Fantasy Travel and Maria Christina. They certainly looked after the group well.

A long wait at the airport and a 3 1/2 hour flight on a very loud plane landed us in Madrid. The airport was very modern and has totally uncomfortable chairs which we got to use for 4 hours. We didn't leave until 11pm and then went through one more time change so it was late when we arrived. Lucky us, we arrive just after some big football game had finished and the crowds were loud up and down the street. We quickly realized how spoiled we had been in Greece when we found our new hotel. The two had reception were anything but helpful. They talked to each other the entire time, finally threw down a key but no information. We managed to ask some of the right questions for answers but not all. No offer of help with bags, nothing - we miss Greece already.
