|Venice was stunning as always, although it was quite humid...if the waters were not so foul I would have enjoyed a nice swim through the canals. We got to meet up with Nona Mirela, Mariangela, Marco, and Lorenzo and we walked though the streets of Venice. We walked to the famous St. Marcos square and the kids enjoyed chasing the birds. I could not help but laugh as little Marco did his best to catch them. In the evening we met up with Nona Flora and Davide and had a nice pizza dinner, we did our best to communicate, but I must say my Italian is fragmented at best...and the evening was over entirely too soon. It was a quick but sweet journey to Venice, and before I knew it we were on the train again on our way back to the sea side.
