Leaving Colorado

State # 18

We had such a wonderful breakfast in Morrison's on Tuesday, so we went back today. We went early to the Colorado Railroad Museum. Trains are big out West. They had a lot of engines, box cars, passenger cars, cabooses, snow plows, etc. They also had an Ho scale layout in the basement and a garden layout outside. Because of the special invitation only dinner Monday night, we did not get to go in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, so we went back today. Wow, a whole room honoring John Denver. Tears were in my eyes:). My wonderful husband bought me the best souvenir, a Gold Copy of "Take Me Home Country Roads" framed with a picture of John Denver and a Rocky Mountain High John Denver T Shirt. I went back outside to say Goodbye to the Spirit Statue. I doubt I pass this way again but I highly recommend a trip to the Red Rocks Amphitheater!
