|Friday’s Adventures began with the doorman snapping early morning pictures in the morning darkness with the festive lights twinkling! After breakfast Judi and I boarded a bus that took us to learn about the first hot mineral springs of Canada...Cave and Basin. We listened to a highly entertaining and informative lecture and video presentation by two very energetic and passionate lecturers. That discovery eventually led to the establishment of Banff National Park. After viewing the hot spring and area around it, we boarded the bus to have lunch in town before our next visit to the Whyte Museum where we learned about the local history and viewed heritage homes of two early and influential settlers. Our evening meal was held at a Spanish restaurant and then followed by a lecture back at the hotel. We learned about the very adventurous and trendsetting ladies of the Canadian Rockies from the late 1800’s to the present times...definitely role models for women’s potential. It was a full and delightful day!
