The weather Gods wanted us to have snow....

Lethbridge...Tim's stop with Pat and her mom Marg

Home! There is nothing like it! And we woke up to snow....what is it with this Alberta weather? I much preferred the 35 C that I left behind in Vegas. Grrrrrrr

The weather Gods had us leaving Lethbridge with snow falling yesterday when we left at 9:30 am. The trip home was no problem. We decided to take highway 36 which is a two way highway but there was light traffic and the roads were clear. Then highways 14 & 16 to come into Edmonton. There was no snow or rain along the way but there was snow in the ditches and as far as the eye could see. We made the usual three or four quick stops and arrived around 4:45 pm.

Some trip facts.....from Mesa.... 3236 kilometres (2010 miles), 742 litres (196 gallons) of diesel, and 30C (86 F) to -1 C (30.2 F).

We came home to a warm greeting from Gord and Joyce. We are very thankful as we would not have went on our trip without them agreeing to be our house sitters for all these months. As there is snow in the Edmonton area as well we will be house sharing until they can get their motor home out of storage and on the road. We let them know we are pretty good at cooking meals, doing dishes and laundry. LOL
