Jerry and I have been in relaxation mode lately. We are enjoying lazy days in Buena Vista parks enjoying nature. We parked at McPhelemy Park for a while today and enjoyed watching the birds and ducks.
This park is located at the stoplight in the center of Buena Vista, at the intersection of Highway 24 and Main Street. This facility is where Concerts in the Park are hosted as well as a variety of other events, such as Paddle on the Pond, and it is also the site of the Buena Vista Historical Society’s Railroad Museum.
You can park your car right by the river. They also have picnic areas and much more. We also had lunch today at Jan’s Family Restaurant. They have some unusual décor, we loved the moose and the handmade bug made out of shovels. They also have a garden area outside the restaurant and reasonably priced great food. We highly recommend this one to all our readers.
When we got home we had more deer in the yard. It was another great day in Buena Vista, check back later for more.
