We had a wonderful day with Kim in Yellowstone National Park. We drove a total of 350 miles, we entered the park on the Westside and drove back through the South Entrance back into Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We drove through three states totally, North Yellowstone, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
We were blessed with lots of wildlife, we saw lots of bison, some were laying out in the field alone, others were in herds. We saw a lot of elk families, beautiful babies and some were crossing the road right in front of us. We saw bald eagles, chipmunks running across the road and one moose on the side of the road. We saw a lot of pronghorns too. It was a great day for critters.
We enjoyed bison burgers in the little town of West Yellowstone for our lunch. We stopped at "The Bird" Restaurant on the way home for our dinner. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Kim volunteered to be my photographer today, most of the awesome Yellowstone pictures were Kim's, I added a few too. :-) It was a wonderful day, we all enjoyed it very much.
