Anyone who knows me well knows that I LOVE the snow. We had an awesome week in Sequim this week. We had one day with flurries, the next day we got about three inches and the next day about six more. It was incredible watching it all comedown, it was a winter wonderland. Not sure when we will get another one like this, it doesn’t happen here often.
It was amazing to watch our two Anna’s Hummingbirds. They stay here in Washington year-round. According to the Washing Audubon, we have about 68 of them here in Sequim. We are very pleased to have two of them that almost live at our feeders.
The snow came down so fast it kept covering the feeder and freezing. Jerry took hot water out and kept thawing it for them, they loved it and hung on to the feeder all day during the snow days getting as much sugar as they could eat. It was so cool to watch. I am adding a few pictures of the snow and hope our readers enjoy them. Check back later for more adventures in Washington.
