Dom - I had my preconceptions about Goa, or specifically its beach towns. But based on Arambol, I couldn't have been more wrong. It is a little paradise here.

Crystal - After consulting the trusty guidebook, it took us while to pick the first beach out of the dozens that line the coast of Goa - we couldn't of got it more right!! We were attracted to Arambol, the furthest North of Goas developed beaches, as it was described as slightly less crazy than the main party beaches but still with a good amount of bars and restaurants, a beautiful beach with rocky headland and somewhere that travellers and long term hippies have been drifting to, attracted as it is less 'discovered' than many of the other beaches and it is a great place to do nothing.

And that it is. We have spent most days relaxing at the beach with long lunches and fantastic sea fod dinners. It really is the life. There is the perfect amount of amenities here in my opinion, plenty of choice - but not too many bars and restaurants set back just a little from the beach front and a few shops just behind in the village. It would be a shame if it got any more built up than this.

Wednesday is Market day in Anjuna - a main resort futher south where they have lots of raves and things. This huge giant flea market is famous throughout Goa so we thought we'd better check it out. We hired out a moped each for the day which was fantastic fun. I only nearly died once too which was good. I think this was one of my favourite days so far, it was such a laugh and we got a chance to ride around and explore and find some even more desserted beaches.

Right my hour is up - off for another lazy lunch! Will get the pictures of our paradise on soon! Xx
