Aug 31, 2019 - August 31, 2019 - Tournai

Saturday, August 31 We had decided the night before to have a “take-it-easy” day with no deadlines, so everyone got up when they were ready and went down to enjoy the very expansive breakfast buffet. Around 11:00, we decided to check out the market in the central square of Tournai. Despite the fact that the market stalls took up much of the square’s parking space, we found a parking spot. Our 9:00 a.m. launch was into light rain which turned into a drenching, heavy rain at 18-24 kmph on a bike. As it was, we were soaked to the skin within 200 metres even though we had dressed accordingly. Around...

Jul 16, 2006 - Onkerzele - Tournai
